How long does the course take?

Certificate III in Hairdressing is completed in 18 months full time across 6, 10 week terms.

As a full time student, you’ll spend 2 days per week at your chosen campus completing hands-on learning with your trainers. You’ll combine this with approximately 7 hours week of online study through the learning portal.

Are there entry requirements?

Students must be 15 years and over. We also require basic English language skills and a genuine interest in the beauty industry. If you're unsure about meeting requirements, our admissions team can discuss your individual circumstances.

Can I study while I'm still at school?

Yes! The Certificate III in Hairdressing is open to students from year 10-12 (15 years old and over).

Is there hands on training?

Yes! You’ll be in the campus 2 days a week learning hands-on with real clients.

You’ll gain real-world experience and learn exactly how to interact with clients all throughout your course giving you the skills and confidence to hit the ground running after you graduate.
